TheAMEZion Bishop of Kentucky from 1916 until his death in 1934, Clement, like his wife Emma, was an early civil rights activist. His comments on political and social issues in this book include an early condemnation of lynching and endorsement of Woodrow Wilson for the presidency. A scarce title, rarely seen outside of institutional collections.
