Rare chart of the western coast of North American and adjacent land masses, based on the explorations of Josef Espinosa y Tello. This is one sheet of a multi-sheet map of the entire Pacific Ocean, covering the west coast of America from Panama to Alaska. The map is on wove paper, possibly suggesting a later actual date than the printed date of 1825. There are routes of early voyagers and the dates when islands were discovered.

Condition

The edges of the map are neatly protected by masking tape, and there are several tape stains/remnants in left margin. A very clean example.
