Max Bezner entwarf für Cadinen zumeist Büsten Kaiser Wilhelms II. Außer dem Dackel (Nr. 393) sind nur wenige Tierplastiken von ihm bekannt, vgl. "Cadinen", Ausstellungskatalog Schlossmuseum Marienburg, S. 58, 105 und Abb. mit Sockel statt Ascher, S. 156. from the Imperial Majolika Manufacture Cadinen. Plastically modelled figure with multi-couloured glaze. Design by Max Bezner. Manufacture mark on the base. Height 20 cm.

Max Bezner worked for Cadinen and created mostly busts of Emperor Wilhelm II. Apart from the dachshund (no. 393), he made only very few animal sculptures, cf. "Cadinen", exhibition catalogue Schlossmuseum Marienburg, pp. 58, 105 and illustration with plinth instead of ashtray, p. 156.
