Miniature filming model of a Miranda Type Escape Pod featured in the first episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This was the escape pod used by Sisko that was launched by the USS Saratoga during the battle of Wolf359. This beautiful miniature was designed by Jim Martin and built by Academy Award nominated model-maker Greg Jein. It features LED lights, and has been stored in a custom made acrylic case atop a custom stand. This one of a kind model measures 14" x 9" x 3" is made from fiberglass with sheet plastic detailing and features detailed graphics. This piece comes direct from the collection of Gary Hutzel.
