This is the main dome section for the K7 space station featured in the season five episode "Trials & tribble-ations" of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In the episode, the crew of DS9 travels back in time to when the original Enterprise was docked at the station. This piece was made by Academy Award nominated model-maker Greg Jein. It is made from fiberglass and resin with small plastic detailing. The piece also features custom made graphics and a working light on the top. The inside of the dome section is covered in fluorescent lights, but is unknown if still functional. This item remains in excellent condition, measures 6" x 6" x 14", and comes from the collection of Gary Hutzel.
