DUTCH SCHOOL (18TH CENTURY) MEN IN A BAR. Oil on canvas, unsigned Canvas: 10.5'' x 12.5'' Frame: 17'' x 19.5''

This piece has had restoration. The paint appears to have been heated to repair crackle and there is some light impasto crushing and light very stable Craquelure. There is a 2" x 1" Y shaped tear the right of the smoking figure with the white hat's head that has had patching and over-painting. This repair is visible under black light, and upon close inspection to the naked eye. Under black light there are a medium amount of of light pen tip - .5" diameter over-painting spots through out. These are not detectable to the naked eye. There is a .25" diameter puncture hole and light tearing to the canvas just below the left figure in grey's thigh. This punter has some pigment loss. This painting has been re-stretched and relined.
