This piece has a heavy vanish layer to the surface that appears to be stabilizing the painted surface. The painting has crackle through out with some light cupping. Under black light the restoration is not detectable beneath the heavy vanish layer. To the naked eye there are some some area of the back ground that have possible overpainting. There is a 1" x 1" V shape possible tear about 5" to the right of the figure head that has been patched and repainted. There is a light stretcher bar line around the painting. There are over a dozen pen tip sized  -.25" diameter sized light chips missing form the green pigment background. The largest chips are concentrated to the stretcher bar mark on the right side. There is visible yellowing to the pigment from the vanish layer.
