This piece has a medium - significant of grime build up with yellowing from grime. There are some faint cracks forming in the paint that are most visible in the upper right quadrant and on the upper edge. There is medium amount of chipping to the paint around the edge with paint loss. Some of these chips have some light patching with a white filler, and some of this edge has some overprinting on the exposed canvas surface. These chips extend at the most about .5" into the canvas. There are several pen tip - .25" diameter grazed surface chips to the painted surface with paint loss, and there is on noticeable .5" diameter chip exposing the white gesso surface below. This chip is about 1" from the top edge and 5" from the left corner. There are a couple .25" diameter holes to canvas on the right edge, and a few pen tip sized holes to the canvas on the bottom edge. This painting has a faint stretcher bar line 3" into the canvas. This canvas is unlined.
