The balding gentleman in this lot has some light adhesive build up to scattering the surface. There are surface scratches scattered throughout. The painting is in good condition. The white haired figure has some scratching to the frame, the gold urn on the back appears to not be adhered, and held on with tape. The painted picture, glass and metal band, are coming unglued from the frame (they are all held together in the metal band frame). There are a couple light smudges to pigment on this piece, one .5" x .25" area on the upper left edge, and another pen tip sized section on the edge just below the signature. The female figure has a crack through the painting a quarter of the way into the picture. It has been glued into the frame and there is adhesive all around the edges about .25" into the picture. The frame has some scratching and light adhesive build up. There is more significant scratching to the edge touching the painted picture where the metal band rests. The metal band and glass are not mounted in the frame (loose). All of the base painted material of these pieces have some light bending/warping.
