LARGE CONTINENTAL GOLD PLATED COVERED BOX, 19th century, the cover with raised decorations depicting Iron smith with anvils and hammer, detailed with fruit on the corners, the edges with scenes of Egyptian everyday life, the box sides with scenes of European everyday life, fitted with a velvet lined interior, supported on scroll and floral feet, signed with makers touch marks; 17-1/2 inch width; 9 inch height; 13-1/2 inch depth.
