[Manuscript] Aquinas, Thomas. 18th century manuscript >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> [ca. 1766] Ink manuscript of Tractatus VII and VIII (partial). The end of Tractatus VII is dated 1766 by the writer. Approx. 200 leaves of manuscript with 11 blank leaves at the end. Period vellum over boards, vellum soiled, spine with tears and some loss, a few pages stained though clean overall. Some variances in the ink used throughout: Some sections were transcribed in an ink with higher iron content (appearing more brown). The manuscript is of Spanish origin as the paper is watermarked by the Carbo paper-makers who were active in Oviedo in Northern Spain.
