Diameter (max) 6.4 in
of a square base with curved widely flaring sides and a flat base, the rim cut into four poligonal units, each defined by pointed tip in the corner, finely molded to the interior base with a winged dragon-fish-like pattern and to each of four interior sides with a symmetrical leafy peony pattern, covered overall in a clear ivory glaze with exception of the flat base.
The shape of this bowl is extremely rare and the molded decoration epitomize the best workmanship of Song Ding ware.
