Description
FREE-BLOWN AND PRESSED WHALE OIL STAND LAMP, colorless, tall bulb-form font raised on an eight-rib columnar-form stem and three-step base with concave sides and interior prisms, beehive/multi-ring wafer construction, pewter collar. Fitted with a period tin double-tube burner. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Circa 1828-1835. 10 1/4" H to top of collar, 4" SQ base.

Condition
Very good condition, three corners each with a small chip/roughness, one with a sizable very shallow chip to underside, remaining corner with an underside flake. Burner undamaged, but does not tighten.
