Vintage Pre-War Tin Wind-up WELLS ' Buy British ' Double Decker London Transport Bus. Marked Wells O London, with overhead electric bars, litho wheels, and greatly detailed passengers with driver figure. Although Wells manufactured these buses with different litho designs from about 1935 to the 50's, the 'Wells O London' mark was only used between the early 1920's to 40's, including the period when the firm merged with Brimtoy. Has a drum-spring windup mechanism and original conductor. Works great. Excellent+ condition. Marked Wells O London.
