Description
GEORGI DIMITROV (1882 - 1949) Bulgarian Communist leader arrested in Berlin for alleged complicity in setting the Reichstag on fire. Dimitrov's cool conduct of his defense and the accusations he directed at his prosecutors won him world renown. He was acquitted and went to the USSR. Served as Secretary General of the Comintern and Premier of Bulgaria. Typed D.S. 1p. oblong 8vo. June 12 1945 in which Dimitrov orders customs to allow free passage at the border of a cargo of 1 200 kilos that were shipped to Sofia Bulgaria. Torn file holes at left margin otherwise very good.
