JAMES D. WATSON JAMES D. WATSON (b. 1928) American molecular biologist geneticist and zoologist best known as a co-discoverer of the structure of DNA in 1953 with FRANCIS CRICK (1916-2004). Both were awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine. Printed D.S. 11"" x 8 1/2"" a chemical and diagrammatic drawing with explanation of a DNA molecule signed at top by Watson. The image has a postage stamp and postal cancel at top margin: the stamp could be easily soaked-off.
