HEINRICH RENGSTORF AWARD GROUPING Excellent group of eight original signed award documents bestowed upon Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Heinrich Rengstorf. Rengstorf was attached to 2 (F)/122 Air Reconnaissance Group 122 which served in the Polish campaign in Russia and in Italy. Rengstorf is awarded the Combat Clasp in Bronze and Silver by one Group Commander on July 25 1941 and Feb. 18 1942 respectfully. On Apr. 15 1942 he is awarded the Combat Clasp in Gold for Airmen by another Group Commander and yet a second such gold clasp with star on March 27 1943 from yet another Group Commander. Two awards are signed by GUSTAV KASTNER KIRDORF (1881-1945) Luftwaffe general Chief of the Air Force Personnel Office. They include Rengstorf's Air Gunner's Badge Aug. 8 1941 and an Honor Goblet for Special Service in the Air War Feb. 2 1943 ""...for bravery and for his special successes as a reconnaissance flyer..."". The last two awards were signed by Luftwaffe Field Marshal ALBERT KESSELRING (1885 - 1960) awards for the Iron Cross Second Class July 18 1941 and Second Class Aug. 27 1941. The first Kesselring has spotty ink adhesion on signature else very good.
