I. G. FARBEN LIQUIDATION BONDS Scarce pair of bonds issued in the liquidation of the notorious Holocaust Zyklon B producer and slave labor employer I. G. Farben. The certificates for 100 and 200 Reichsmarks indicate the name of the firm and are dated 1953 in Munich. Four coupons of the original ten remain attached to each certificate. Fine. Due to the severity of its war crimes I.G. Farben was considered to be too corrupt to be allowed to continue to exist and the company was split up into the original constituent companies. Even though the company was officially liquidated in 1952 it continued to be traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as a trust until it was finally declared bankrupt on November 10 2003 despite having been continually criticized for failing to pay any compensation to the former laborers.
