ADOLF HITLER SEMI-FORMAL SALAD PLATE New condition white china salad or luncheon plate made for Hitler by the SS Allach subcamp of Dachau. The 9 1/2"" "" diameter plate bears his initials ""A H"" on either side of a highly-detailed gold eagle and swastika device on the rim of the plate. The bottom of the plate is marked with SS runes and ""Allach"". The set was found in a deserted storage area in the 1970s in unopened boxes likely moved there from either the Berghof or the Braun Haus. Original spots easily cleaned else superb condition. Allach was opened on March 19th 1943 as the largest subcamp of Dachau concentration camp because of the shortage of labor in the armament and building industry. The camp was also the manufacturing site of Allach porcelain and German dress uniform swords and daggers.
