Description
WORLD WAR I ARTILLERY SPOTTER'S RANGE FINDING DRAWINGS Excellent grouping of nine different original pencil drawings of an artilleryman's views and ranges to various structures accomplished on both sides of individual 13"" x 3 5/8"" beige heavy stock cards. The drawings signed by soldier Joseph Berkowits and dated October and November 1918 variously show farm structures factories chateaux schools etc. and individual distances to each. Additionally each has tack holes at corners which indicates they may have been used in the field perhaps tacked to a bunker or blockhouse wall. Very good.
