Federal seal attached in lower left corner with remnants of original red color. J.R. Mather Esq. mentioned in the etching of the said property in Elkhart Indiana, is a direct descendent to the Jacob Rupel mentioned in the land grant. The deceased spouse of the consigner is also a direct descendent of the gentlemen mentioned in the land grant and on the etching and was raised in this residence depicted in the etching. The etching measures 6" x 8", framed and matted under glass.
