Description
Silver or nickel plated Saxophone. Made in the German Democratic Repulbic (East Germany) during the Cold War period. Made by VEB Blechblas- und Signal-Instrumenten-Fabrik, Klingenthal, Saxony. Saxophones made by the company are known as "Blue Label" saxophones. Marked with a blue enameled plate - B&S, also up front with a large crest - B&S MARKNEUKIRCHEN KLINGENTHAL. The serial number is 3371, Made in GDR. Measurements: Approx. 32" long
Condition
looks complete and playable. Some signs of wear and minor deformations on the body, common on vintage and antique musical instruments. All of the keys and buttons look to move freely. Missing mouthpiece.
