Measurement: Dia. 5 in., H 8.3 in. This was an elegant Qianlong Period (1736-1795) of Tibetan Amitayus made of gilt silver. It was rare to find a silver Amitayus and plated with gilt. Only the most important piece of Tibetan artifacts were made of gilt silver. This piece was made for the imperial palace. The base was inscribed with Tibetan Sanskrit language and Chinese characters meaning "Made in the Qianlong period'. Therefore, the value of this Amitayus speaks for itself.
