American (late 20th century). Circa 1988, W.R. Case & Sons limited edition, collectible "Babe Ruth" 3240Y trapper knife made exclusively for Frost Cutlery Company. Knife manufactured to commemorate the baseball player. Knife with blue incised facsimile signature on yellow composition handle, nickel silver bolsters and highly polished surgical steel blades decorated with image of iconic baseball player and information on his career noting his 714 home runs. Edition 215 of 1200 produced. Length approximately 4.5". Contained within fitted case and accompanied with Certificate of Authenticity.
