American, late 20th century. A framed presentation of Elvis memorabilia comprising of a 24k gold plated RCA record of Elvis Presley's broadcasted concert "Aloha From Hawaii" of January 14, 1973. Mounted beside the record are three concert tickets from September 1977, two from Savannah, Georgia and one from Terra Haute, Indiana. Cover art for the "Aloha From Hawaii" album flanks the tickets to the right and shows Elvis in his traditional white suit with red lei superimposed on a photograph of the moon. These items are all topped by a large color photograph of Elvis in a white rhinestoned suit with red lei taken during his performance in Hawaii. A plaque applied below the photograph reads "Elvis Presley, Aloha from Hawaii, 24kt gold plated record, On January 14, 1973 Elvis appeared in the most successful concert in history. The concert was broadcast by satellite and over one billion people tuned in to see him. Never has one performer held the world's attention in such a way! Limited Edition 9/77". Overall measures approximately 50.5" x 35".
