Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Ca 1000 to 1300 CE. Â Fine textile panel woven of camelid (llama or alpaca) fibers in shades of tan, brown and brick red. Â Patterns consist of geometric designs and abstract zoomorphs. Â Professionally conserved and mounted to light brown cloth with Velcro on the back to allow it to be easily mounted to a wood stretcher. Â Â Size: Â Textile itself measures 21" x 8-3/4"
