China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE – 220 CE. An ancient and exceedingly rare Chinese Han Dynasty ram with typical green glaze, traces of iridescence. Finely modeled, alert raised head. The ancient Chinese loved to surround themselves with animals that were part of their daily lives. Size: 4-1/2" H.
