Pennsylvania. March 16, 1785. Ten Shillings. PMG graded Very Fine-20.
Fr. PA-270. This is a well printed note of this scarce 1785 Pennsylvania issue. There are no problems whatsoever along the central “PENNSYL-VANIA” watermark in this solid, laid paper. This note is quite clean and even in wear, with brown signatures and serial number remaining clear. A scarce higher denomination ten shillings note, on this tough 1785 issue.
