An early 20th century gold, opal and diamond ring. The opal cabochons with old-cut diamond double spacers, to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Weight 4.1gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The settings and slightly misshapen band show evidence of alteration and repair. The opals have a white body colour and good to fairly good play-of-colour showing predominately green hues, all opals show abrasion. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen with the naked eye, some of which are surface reaching. Small nibbles can be seen to the edge of the diamonds. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Approximate ring size P.
