Boot-maker works in his shop, ambrotype

1/6 plate ambrotype in double elliptical mat. The "basket of flowers" case with separated cover is earlier than the image. This has traces of once having been in an oval mat. There is some problem with the image of his hair that seems to derive from its making, not later damage. [2+]
