19 rich large gravures plus 1 cyanotype, 11" x 13", mounted on loose 16" x 20" sheets. The actual images are 8 ¾" x 11". The name of the owner of each residence is imprinted on the lower left of the outer margin. These are from some architectural portfolio.
There are many interesting styles of late 19th Century architecture, between Victorian and modern; a number of these are also excellent examples of gravure printing. Among the owners are the tobacco tycoon Pierre Lorrilard, who established the exclusive community of Tuxedo Park NY in 1885 - 1886, A. G. Foster of St. Paul, and Potter Palmer.
