79: 8 Vintage FSA depression-era agricultural group

Description

a) Dramatic composition of silos. 8" x 10" glossy silver print has the stamp of the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation, dated 1939, with pen title "Warehouse" and credit to photographer McMonigal, and negative number FCI – 6. Rich with slight discoloration.

b) Another by McMonigal with same stamp, dated 1939. A pen caption on verso gives location in Moorehead, Minn "typical of better farm homes in wheat country in Minnesota and North Dakota."

The others are uncredited, though two have AAA numbers on the verso. One is smaller 6" x "8", with negative number in pencil and "Abandoned farm" in pencil. Condition generally at least [3] with only incidental unproblematic imperfections.
