This work is in our considered opinion based on thirty years experience with the artist an authentic incidental drawing by the artist, one of many that artists of the era proffered to family members, friends, associates, and patrons often at book signings, gallery openings or in other similar circumstances.
The subject, a clown's face, was used frequently by Picasso and is seen in a number of graphic projects. The obvious quick sketch of the familiar image and the signature convention with dating speaks to the genuineness of the attribution. ,
