Torat Ha'Adam. Laws pertaining to the sick, burial and mourning with the "Shar HaGmul" regarding the eternity of the soul, reward and punishment by Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman – Nachmanidies. Venice, 1595. Antiquated owner signature on the title page.
108 leaves, 20 cm.
Early edition of the Ramban's noted work with the "Shar HaGmul" that was printed independently many times. The last leaf features a letter that the Ramban sent from Jerusalem to his son in Spain, describing the terrible devastation he saw. The title page features a vignette depicting three large crowns, the printer devices of Giovanni di Gara.
New, magnificent binding – integrated leather and cloth. Restored worming marks. Aging stains, fine-very fine condition.
