Depicting a mother and her young daughter reclining on a lounge in an interior scene, initialed lower left EMB and dated '09 (1909), Elinor M. Barnard  (1872 - 1942) was a British artist known for her watercolor portraits of children, still lifes and genre paintings, nicely framed and matted, measures approximately 6.5"H x 9.75"W sight, 18"H x 21"W framed. Condition: appears to be in good condition, has not been removed from frame, frame with some wear to gilt.
