The portrait of Edgar Varese, a published work that appeared in the May-June 1934 edition of Trend, a magazine of the Arts. Edgar Varese was a French-American composer noted for his distinctive style which was based on "complex acoustic and theoretical principles" which broke down the distinctions between music and noise; dissonance and consonance. Approximately 5 X 4 inches. Minor margin smudge, otherwise in very good condition. Not examined out of the frame.
