Antler or stag veneered sewing box, interior of lid is sandalwood with engraved ivory bordered panel and centered by a carved ivory rosette. Compartments have engraved ivory lids with carved ivory rosette pulls, pin cushions are woven silk and ivory thimble & needle case are within. Tray lifts out with silver handles. India c. 1830.
