(3") This original embroidered patch is from the collection of Buzz Aldrin and was flown by the astronaut aboard Gemini 12. Included is a certificate of authenticity from Aldrin's stepson that reads, in part: "the NASA Meatball patch which I have submitted for sale…was carried on the flight of Gemini 12 by my stepfather, Col. Edwin E. (Buzz) Aldrin, Jr. " The patch is slightly ragged around the edges and soiled, but rare nonetheless.
