Wonderful condition on this F. C. Woods & Co. lure, rigged with 5 type 1 removable treble hooks, large bow tie props with holes, flawless yellow glass eyes, finished in dark green back blending to mellow gold sides and belly. Other than paint off of the 2 internal belly weights, it is Ex/Ex+ and includes the original wood slide top box. Paper side label, printed with both the March 1903 and December 1903 patent dates, has staining and missing paper at the top and bottom edges. Wood box has a 2" split to the top rail and a missing end rail. A fantastic early classic bait and box combination.
