English William & Mary walnut armchair, ca. 1700, with carved crest and caned back flanked by scrolled arms supported by turned and blocked legs joined by stretchers terminating in Spanish feet, retaining a great old dry surface. Provenance: Titus Geesey 1962.
Condition reportSplit in top. Good surface. Some worm holes. 3" worm damage loss to inside edge of one leg. Two feet with 3" splice. Old circular patch in right arm. Side stretcher re-pinned. Repair to one volute on crest. Good surface.
