Among the books he wrote and illustrated are Pony Tracks (1895); Crooked Trails (8198) and The Way of an Indian (1906). ALS "Frederic," 1p, 5"x8", n.p., n.d. To his friend Joel regarding Remington's personal collection. In part, "The jug came all right. Its a d[amn] shame to crowd your friends as I do but that jug simply belonged in my collection and it had to be there. I can't rearrange the eternal fitness of things.
