J. & E. Stevens Co., designed by Charles A. Bailey, Patented 1888, one of the most desirable of the pedestal styled banks, certainly the rarest with reportedly four known examples, it is a marvel in casting effects and its action which involves figure kicking small watermelon into larger one for coin deposit makes the survival rate of this bank even more baffling: a true prize opportunity offering.
