Seal on c-page. 1st edition, 1st state: p232, line 6: “and.” Undamaged type at the 6 locations. Bruccoli A9.I.a. Blue-green cloth with title and author in blind on front cover. Spine’s gilt title visible but faded. Scuff, staining to covers, spine ends frayed, corners bumped. Text pages have occasional small stains and dog earing. Eps foxed/toned. ++ Fitzgerald. TAPS AT REVEILLE. Scribner’s, 1935. 8vo. 1st edition, 1st state: p350, lines 5-7: “…he would emancipate himself-he need not base himself on the addingmachine-calcultaing machine-probability machine-st. Francis of Assis any longer.”-and was” on p351, line 15. “Oh, catch it-oh, catch it and take it-oh, catch it,” she sighed…” on p351, line 29. Binding is a variant (blue-green cloth with gilt lettering on spine, but without the title in blind as Bruccoli A18.I.a. calls for on front cover).
