Sino-tibetan, 19th century Copper and embossed alloy with golden and silver laminate This lot is composed by two metal statues. The first one (which has a gilt laminated embossed copper low relief on the back) portrays the founder of Gelug-pa school, Tsoṅ-kha-pa (Rje rim-po-che). The second statue portrays Sumukhī (Mthiṅ-gi zhal-bzaṅ-ma), one of the five goddes of long life. She rides a wild donkey with her legs apart and in her left hand she holds a mirror, while in her right hand she holds a long brush. Both statues are silver laminate. h 17 cm
