WEN Dian ? ? (1633-1704)

WEN Dian is also known under the name of Nanyun Shanqiao and a painter, calligraph and poet of the Qing dynasty. His painting landscapes originate in the tradition of the Wen family, whose most famous painter was Wen Zhengming, who painted in the Ming dynasty.



Condition: The works are in good condition for their age with usual signs of wear. Small spots here and there as well as partly cut edges can be seen. A work shows thinned and repaired areas. The total dimension of each work is 40.5 x 30 cm and each picture has an image size of c. 26 x 16 cm.
