1970. cca. 84 x 55 cm. Vintage poster. Paper, offset. Socialist Realist poster from 1970. The poster advertises an exhibition, called the Days of the Soviet culture. The exhibition took place at Kunsthalle between October 24th and November 3rd. The artworks shown on this exhibition had also been shown at the exhibition in Moscow organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Lenin's birth. The poster has a very powerful composition, using motives typical for the Soviet propaganda. The red star and the marching crowd were commonly used elements, such as Lenin's portrait. However the composition is very dynamic and expressive.
