Decorative, exotic lamp from the house of Maison Jansen. The floor lamp is designed in the shape of three palm trees made of brass, at the heart of each palm is the light source. The palm trees are mounted in square container.
The lamp is in good condition with a few signs of age and wear. The height measures 73 cm, The diameter is 53 cm.
Maison Jansen (est. 1880)
Maison Jansen is considered one of the most exclusive interior designers, founded in 1880 in Paris by Jean-Henri Jansen. Since the beginning Jansen put the focus on the combination of traditional design with influences of Japanese and Turkish style and the Modern Arts and Crafts movement. Also furniture in the style of Louis XIV, Louis XVI, Directoire and Empire were among his designs. In the 1920s, Stéphane Boudin joined the company, under his leadership Maison Jansen provided the royal houses in the country and abroad and also decorated the White House during the administration of John F. Kennedy.
