Very good condition

The French designer Philippe Starck made the armchair ‘Boom Rang’ in 1992. With its soft biomorphic forms it is an example for the influence of the so called ‘Soft Design’ in the ‘90s which Ron Arad is one of the leading exponents of.



The chairs are in very good condition with a few signs of age and wear like slighty rubbed rims. They measure 79 x 57 x 50 cm.



Philippe Starck (b. 1949)

Philippe Starck studied at the Ecole Nissim de Camondo in Paris and won his first furniture design price in 1965. He became known to a wider audience when he was called to decorate the private rooms of the French president Francois Mitterand. Thanks to his designs for the Café Costes in Paris he rose to fame on a global scale.
