Late 18th/early 19th Century cherry tall clock with painted dial signed "J. Mulliken Concord", 90"h. x 22"h. x 10 1/2"d., having keys, weights, pendulum, and original brass finials. Joseph Mulliken (1765-1802) was, by account, the first clockmaker to live and work in Concord, Massachusetts. Provenance: Hannah Davis family of Bedford and Concord, Mass. Minor fretwork loss, age crack to front panel above door, age crack to lower side panel.
