GERMAN MILITARY WORLD WAR TWO / WWII "HITLER YOUTH" ASSEMBLED UNIFORM AND RELATED ARTICLES, comprising a "summer" uniform shirt and shorts, garrison cap, belt with Hitler Youth buckle, drum hanger, drum and drumsticks, arm band, whistle on lanyard, and kerchief with leather knot. Shirt bears a shoulder board with bann number 547, and a sleeve patch inscribed "Sudost Steiermark", a Hitler Youth marksmanship pin, and a edelweiss lapel pin/tinnie. Together with a Hitler Youth pennant, and period footwear. Includes mannequin. Second quarter 20th century.

Provenance: From a West Virginia private collection.

Catalogue Note: The bann number and "Sudost Steiermark" were not found among available listed Hitler Youth bann information. However, the available information is incomplete, and this bann and any associated numbers have not been ruled out as genuine.

Condition

Very good condition overall. Some threading to shoulder board loose. Shirt buttons are not original, drum hanger may be reproduction.
